S5000 supports BP5000 batteries only. It is not compatible with BP3800, BP3000 or Anker Home Power Panel. Home-circuit backup requires a compatible transfer switch or inlet and professional installation.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
Which expansion battery is compatible?
Only BP5000 is supported. Previous Anker battery models and third-party batteries are not compatible.
Can I connect a Home Power Panel?
No. Anker Home Power Panel is not compatible with S5000. Use an approved transfer-switch or inlet arrangement.
What does the 8,000W rating mean?
It is a brief startup peak, not sustained power. Keep continuous loads within 4,500W and observe each outlet’s limit.
Can I connect batteries and a generator together?
Yes, in the supported arrangement. Connect the generator to the specified DC port on the expansion battery or topmost battery and follow the current manual.
What is included in my selected configuration?
The configuration name and order summary identify the selected main equipment and bundle items. Optional add-ons are separate and are included only when selected.
What warranty is included?
This brand-new Anker SOLIX unit includes a 5-year warranty. Keep your DRT purchase receipt for warranty support.
