Why these products together

Observe from above. Guide the work on the ground.

01

FJD

Support consistent tractor passes

FJD AT2 Max
FJD AT2 Max

AT2 Max guides a compatible, calibrated tractor along configured lines with the appropriate installation and correction source.

02

DJI

Give the team a wider field view

DJI Matrice 4E
DJI Matrice 4E

Matrice 4E adds RGB aerial records for reviewing field layout, access and visible conditions before the team plans its task.

What the combination gives you

Make the observation task and the driving task easier to plan.

  • Less repetitive manual steering
  • Current aerial field context
  • Equipment chosen for the actual farm task

The team connects the two tasks. DJI imagery does not automatically become FJD guidance lines or control the tractor.

The problems this setup addresses

Field changes are difficult to see from the cabReview the wider area

How the benefit is achieved

Matrice 4E RGB imagery adds visual context for field access, boundaries and documentation.

Keeping each pass consistent takes attentionSupport the tractor operator

How the benefit is achieved

AT2 Max provides guidance on a compatible, calibrated tractor with the appropriate correction source and installation.

How the benefit is achieved

Review tractor fit, field tasks and any required data import before choosing adapters, software or optional functions.

The combination, explained

Two farm tasks, coordinated by your team.

  1. DJI aerial imageryObserve and document the field
  2. Field reviewPeople interpret the site context
  3. FJD tractor guidanceConfigure supported guidance lines
  4. Task recordsReview the work and next steps
The practical benefitMake the observation task and the driving task easier to plan.
Operational workflow, not an automatic data connection. DJI imagery does not directly control AT2 Max or automatically create guidance or prescription files.

Illustrative workflow

Example: planning work across several fields

Use a current aerial record to discuss access and field conditions, then configure the tractor guidance task independently with the correct implement and correction setup. Keep any map import as a separate, verified step.

Best fit

Farm teams that need both aerial visual records and guidance for an existing compatible tractor.

Already own equipment?

If your main problem is repetitive steering, start with tractor fit and AT2 Max. Add the aircraft when aerial documentation has a clear role in your operation.

Workflow illustration

How the workflow comes together.

  1. 01

    Check the machine

Confirm tractor make, model, year and steering installation requirements.

  2. 02

    Define the field task

Separate guidance needs from aerial imagery and mapping requirements.

  3. 03

    Prepare each system

Configure the tractor correction source and drone capture plan independently.

  4. 04

    Review data use

Confirm supported formats and any manual conversion before attempting a shared data workflow.

Machine and workflow review

Choose your setup.

The FJD system and DJI aircraft are separate purchases. DRT can quote installation, corrections and a data workflow after reviewing the machine and job.

Questions before choosing the setup

Can a DJI map go straight into the FJD system?

Do not assume a direct import. Confirm the file format, coordinates, software and conversion path for the specific task.

Does Matrice 4E measure crop health like a multispectral sensor?

This solution uses RGB aerial imagery for visual context. Multispectral analysis requires a different sensor and workflow.

What is needed to check tractor fit?

Provide the make, model, year, steering details, implement and intended field tasks. DRT will review the required adapter, correction source and installation.

A good setup starts with the right checks.
  • DRT must check tractor fit and the exact steering adapter before ordering the guidance system.
  • RTK correction services, base stations, installation and optional functions vary by configuration.
  • DJI maps do not automatically become FJD guidance lines or prescription maps. Confirm the required software and supported import path first.
  • Agras spraying and its high-power charging are separate solutions and are not included in this recommendation.
