DJI Matrice 400 Third Gimbal Connector
Expand the payload mounting options of the DJI Matrice 400 with a dedicated third gimbal connector designed for compatible enterprise payloads and specialized aerial operations.
Expand Payload Mounting Flexibility
The DJI Matrice 400 Third Gimbal Connector provides an additional mounting position on the underside of the aircraft. By connecting to the E3 or E4 port of the DJI E-Port V2, it enables compatible payloads to be mounted beneath the aircraft.
The connector supports two mounting methods: a quick-release connection with a maximum payload of 3 kg, and screw-lock fastening with a maximum payload of 6 kg. Select the appropriate mounting method according to the payload design and the manufacturer's installation requirements.

The figures above are the connector's specified maximum payload limits for each mounting method. They are not a guarantee that every payload of the stated weight is compatible.
Aircraft Payload Considerations
The DJI Matrice 400 has a maximum payload capacity of 6 kg under the specified reference conditions. Actual allowable payload depends on the aircraft configuration and operating conditions.
When using the single downward gimbal, dual downward gimbal and third gimbal connector simultaneously, DJI specifies that the combined weight of non-DJI payloads must not exceed 6 kg. Check the official aircraft manual and payload manufacturer's installation guidance before flight.
